I finally had everything on Tuesday night. I started sewing Chloe's dress on Wednesday after lesson... Unfortunately the patterns were half wrong and I had to make some changes on the dress. But this wasn't enough. When I had almost finished it, I realized that the size was around 12 or 14. Chloe's model was size 10 but it was 7 o clock and I didn't have time to change it more. I continued on Thursday and found out that I needed extra facing. There was anything on the working drawing neither on the patterns. It took long to do all the facing when I had already made smaller the size of the dress. I finished some details on Friday morning until 11 o clock. But I was really disappointed because my model had sent me a message at 4 o clock in the morning that she would be unable to come. So I had to find a new one... Fortunately I had seen a really thin girl that was Chloe's friend s Chloe asked her and she came. But around 1:30 my design was not finished the model couldn't fit in it cause the dress was enormous and also she did not let me to make her make up as I wanted it to be. And except for that. The dress had no holes for the ribbon on the left side, the buttons were not there, there was an extra cut at the right side because of the zip and the binding was replaced by a white seam. The two of the three other members used striped denim fabric when we had decided to change the theme from stripes to lines because these two members did not wanted to have a striped fabric. Also we had decided not to use denim and now my plain navy blue neoprene fabric could not link with the other three dresses. The two guys had not models so in the catwalk the only dresses that were shown were Chloe's and mine. They couldn't be linked together. It was a TOTAL FAIL. And except for that, when we had to submit the twill the final dress the working drawing the patterns and the final illustration, I had no patterns cause Ashley didn't come on Friday because he was working and he had kept my patterns. My working drawing was at Chloe's who was disappeared because she was going to finish my dress at her home and my dress was never finished. It was not my responsibility. Moreover, I don't think that any other member of my group had an illustration. The one that I made for Ashley's dress (as it was the only one that I had not done anything until then) was really bad as I had never seen the dress finished and on a model. So I made it as I thought that it would be and my drawing was terrible. I don t know if it was my fault. I hope that the examiners will be indulgent with my work and will check what I was given and what I made.
